Event description:
Main Studio Control Room This course is only for current SF Commons Members who would like to learn about basic television studio production, utilize the Main Studio, or crew for productions in our Control Room. The course covers basic video engineering for Main Studio productions, switcher operation, fader use, blue screen setup/use, audio connections and adjustment, microphone use, Character Generation (CG), and basic recording/playback rack usage. After this class you will be on your way to adding extra value to your next production and will be eligible to crew in the Control Room for other productions at SF Commons.
SF Commons Members will need to pass this Training and Certification in order to rent, work in, or utilize the Control Room at our facility.
NOTE: This is for Training and Certification for the Control Room only. For Main Studio use and/or rental, you will also need to register for the SF Commons Main Studio Training and Certification. A basic working knowledge of equipment like video cameras, microphones, and decks is recommended prior to taking this course.
