BlackMagicDesign is on a bold mission to deliver the industry color correction darling, DaVinci, to serious editors. They've bundled the DaVinci tools with what eerily seems similar to Apple's now defunct Final Cut 7 platform and packaged it at a super affordable price. Enter DaVinci Resolve: Introduction at BAVC. Resolve plays nice with Adobe After Effects, in fact, with the whole Adobe Creative Cloud. In this two-day class you'll be given a tour of the interface and see how Resolve works from beginning to end.
