Get together with fellow podcasters (and aspiring podcasters), of the San Francisco Bay Area to network and learn some best editorial practices and experiences from a panel of leading podcasting professionals. 

Light snacks and beverages will be served.

Meet the Panelists:

Erin Fleming is a Content Producer and the Interim Associate Director of Interpretive Media at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. She is a the Executive Producer of the museum’s award-winning podcast, Raw Material. Erin also produces a weekly radio show featuring rare new wave and experimental '80s music by femme, trans, and genderqueer artists on Radio Valencia.

Heather Knight is a San Francisco Chronicle columnist working out of City Hall and covering everything from politics to homelessness to family flight and the quirks of living in one of the most fascinating cities in the world. She hosts the San Francisco City Insider podcast and co-founded the Chronicle’s #TotalSF program to celebrate the fun side of life in SF.

Lisa Rudman, is the Executive Director of Making Contact, a nationally syndicated radio series and podcast focused on social justice issues, www.radioproject.org. Lisa supervises, coaches, edits and cajoles, as she brings over 20 years of experience in production and management in community radio and public television. She served on the coordinating committee of The Media Consortium, a network of 80 print, TV, web and radio outlets that are driven by progressive values and promoting collaboration. Lisa has shared her skills with scores of community media organizations. A grad of Dartmouth College, she's also studied journalism and video/radio production via the CA community college system and the school of life.

Allegra Bandy is engaged in a variety of multimedia projects currently, including audiobook production and publication, music composition and production, podcast radio, voice over acting and narration, and sound engineering, both in the studio and out in the field. Allegra teaches the "Build a Podcast" class at BAVC, and co-produced the podcast, “Making It Work Radio,” which ran for 3 seasons. The podcast features interviews with professionals about surviving and thriving in the Bay Area. Allegra also specializes in audiobook production as recording engineer, vocal coach, editor and publisher.
