Beau Bonneau Casting’s Extras Casting Department is immediately seeking SF Bay Area local Casting Assistants available to work up to 40 hours or more per week for 4 months, on a new series starting early June shooing through September. These positions are project driven, but there is a possibility we may hire one full-time assistant at the end of shooting. Only hard-working, detail-oriented, enthusiastic people interested in learning about the casting process need apply, NOT actors who desire to be cast in our projects.

This is not a nine-to-five job. We work around production’s schedule, typically late morning or afternoon through evening hours Sunday through Thursday. Extras Casting is fast-paced phone and computer work in the office, not on location.

We are offering $14 - $15/hr to start based on experience. Casting or Production experience is preferred, but not required as we will train the right individuals.

Responsibilities 

This person will assist the Extras Casting Director with all daily activities. Duties may include:
• Answering phones, checking messages and general administrative tasks or errands
• Assisting in the selection of various individuals for scenes
• Contacting potential extras to check their availability
• Interfacing, signing in and taking pictures of potential extras at open calls
• Research and outreach for specific needs through internet, email, phone calls

Qualifications 

• Ability to multi-task in high pressure situations
• Great communication skills and thoroughness
• Dependable quick- learner with flexible schedule
• High Energy and can-do attitude
• Computer/Internet savvy preferred
