Project Open Hand, a San Francisco nonprofit that provides meals with love and heals that heal to critically ill neighbors in San Francisco and Alameda counties, is seeking a graphic design intern who can help tell the story of our work through visuals and graphics. We are seeking an individual who can work on a wide-arrange of graphic design projects and has a solid understanding of visual communications.
We are looking for an undergraduate or masters-level student (stipend included).

• Create and design print and digital materials
• Adhere to POH brand guidelines and complete projects according to deadline
• Retouch and manipulate images
• Use graphic design software and work with a wide variety of media
• Collaborate with the Manager, Marketing and Communications to develop design concepts
• Receive feedback from Manager, Marketing and Communications and make necessary changes
• Assemble final materials for printing as needed
• Graphic Design major preferred
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of layout, typography, line composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentals
• Experience with InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Web Content Management System (CMS) drupal or similar CMS Platform
• Strong creative and analytical skills
• Compelling student portfolio of graphic design work
• Video production experience a plus
