KTSF is seeking a full-time Prod for live, Chinese language evening newscasts, and other programming. The duties include managing content on our website, and Chinese graphic development and playback for our live newscast. Training provided in audio and video operations. May cross-train in other departments and perform other duties as assigned. Must read and type in Chinese. Basic knowledge of website design is preferred. Creative problem-solving under the pressure of a live newscast. Ability to organize, manage workflow and meet deadlines. Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

Managing content on our website
Developing graphic design elements using Chinese character generators
Creating graphics with Photoshop and related graphics software
Playing back graphics and subtitles during live newscasts
Training provided in audio and video operations
May cross-train in other departments and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Design or Broadcast Communication preferred
Must read and type in Chinese
Basic knowledge of website design is preferred
Strong verbal, written, analytical and interpersonal skills
Creative problem-solving under the pressure of a live newscast
Ability to organize, manage workflow and meet deadlines
Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.
