The Junior Video Editor, a project-based, part-time role, will be responsible for working with the Producer and/or the Creative Director through the editing process to ensure streamlined storytelling and execution of our clients’ vision.

Our Junior Editor must be available to come into the office to edit projects. This role is a part-time role and does not require the individual to come into the office on a daily basis, unless necessary for a specific project.


 You will have a wide array of responsibilities which will include (and not be limited to):
-Edit raw footage into a creative, visual story based on a creative brief
-Edit documentary style, non-scripted interviews to build a narrative arc
-Create selects timelines for the manager to review
-Ensure that video projects align with Slow Clap quality standards

-Ability to meet tight deadlines for both internal and external reviews
-Strong communication skills
-Strong time management and organizational skills
-Ability to understand and execute on feedback
-Willingness to be flexible, and work with multiple stakeholders collaboratively


-Proficiency in Adobe Premiere
-After Effects, Photoshop and DaVinci Resolve knowledge a plus
-Bachelor’s degree, with at least three years of related experience in video production
-Portfolio of work and video reel illustrating candidates experience
