KMPH FOX26 News in Fresno, CA has an opening for an aggressive ENG photographer for its 5-hour morning newscast. To merit consideration applicants must show work samples they have put together at a network-affiliate TV News Department that include live shots with and without a reporter, examples of skill involving lighting live and story coverage locations, and participation on all station social media platforms. The selected candidate will also, likely, be asked to attend company training that will allow them to be an FAA-licensed drone pilot. Candidates with no TV News photography experience will not merit consideration.


Requirements and Qualifications:

At least one year of shooting experience and technical knowledge of editing and photo equipment
Team-player who can produce good stories under tight deadlines
Must have valid driver’s license, good driving record and be able to operate ENG news vehicles
Ability to edit and shoot general assignment stories, lives shots and natural sound packages
Must be able to lift and carry between 25 and 50 pounds on a regular basis
Must be able to work effectively as a team with a reporter
Must understand the use of live technology, including “backpack” and microwave truck units.
