We are looking for a Fall intern to support our team, at our creative facility in Berkeley. We ask for a commitment of four months, working 3-5 days a week. We are a production company that produces video for all media (see the “OUR WORK” section of our website The internship would involve many aspects of the post-workflow for many video formats and types of projects. Some of the tasks would include:

● Titling and motion graphics in After Effects
● Using Photoshop to design for video and web
● Greenscreen keying and rotoscoping
● Color correcting footage in After Effects, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro
● Creating Assembly and rough cuts in Premiere
● Transcoding/Compressing footage from/to various formats
● Media management on Fiber-Connected XSan
● Hardware and Software troubleshooting
● Maintaining media and equipment databases
● Archiving projects to LTO tape

We are looking for someone who has:

● A strong design sense
● Intermediate knowledge in After Effects, C4D, PhotoShop, Premiere Pro
● Interest in design & motion graphics in addition to editing & storytelling
● Technical aptitude (geeks welcome)
● Interest in the latest aesthetic/design approaches, new plugins and effects, and hot new visual work that’s out in the world
● A razor sharp attention to detail and strong organizational skills
● A great attitude and understands the fluctuations in a busy, deadline-oriented post production environment

Please Note: While we want people who know Premiere Pro, this is primarily a design / motion graphics internship. We are looking for people with working knowledge and interest in design (mostly using Adobe Creative Suite).

This internship pays $80/day after a four day training period. After the four month commitment, we often hire and recommend former interns for future projects. Also, several of our current Studio B staff started as interns.
