Academy of Art University is hiring Photography Technicians for the Fall Semester (September 3rd through December 19th). This is a part-time position working up to 40 hours per week for the duration of Fall semester and will work onsite.

Benefits:

Responsibilities 

The Academy's Photography Technicians assist students and Academy Instructors with checking out industry standard photographic equipment. The facility is maintained similarly to a professional rental house and performs thorough inspections of all equipment when checked out and returned to the facility. Accurate and detailed documentation is key to the position.

Qualifications 

At least one year of work experience in the photography field. A degree in Photography is highly preferred.
Must have prior customer service experience and be able to effectively provide support and communicate important policies and procedures.
Must have knowledge of rental equipment procedures.
Have experience in traditional black and white processing and printing.
Have experience with inventory control and documentation.
Be experienced with color management in a digital lab environment.
Have experience with Adobe Photoshop CS, Lightroom, Mac OSX and Windows PC.
Must be able to consistently lift up to 30 lbs.
