The role

As Video Content Producer, you will create videos to educate and inform SoFi members. At SoFi, content is treated as a product. We offer daily communication of news and analysis distributed through the web, mobile, and email platforms. You will join a team that reaches more than a million members every day.

The role is responsible for strategy and execution of news-style video content. This will include coordinating with internal stakeholders to quickly turnaround soundbites, montages, and excerpts from event content, as well as creating how-to videos to walk members step-by-step through signing up and/or utilizing products and features. This role requires someone who can produce daily video content while also managing 5-10 longer-term projects per quarter. This person will help us continue to reach our goal of educating and informing members with independent and fact-based content to help them get their money right.

The right candidate has experience writing, producing and editing, preferably in a news environment. The key to success in this role will be a strong desire to educate others on personal finance topics, a love of the visual medium, and a knack for identifying the most important information to share with others, all while thriving in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines in a regulated industry.
