CodeBAVC is an educational opportunity for people who want to learn more about tech and coding languages at no cost. Currently, Bay Area Video Coalition offers two weekly CodeBAVC labs: San Francisco Public Library Main Branch and Twitter's Neighbor Nest. The SFPL coding lab is a drop-in lab and is open to anyone in the San Francisco Bay Area. The coding lab at Neighbor Nest is a structured eight-to-ten-week cohort model and requires participants to commit to completing the course. All participants are encouraged to enroll in TechSF after completing the course. CodeBAVC utilizes two online education platforms to enhance student knowledge: Team Treehouse and LinkedIn Learning (formerly Lynda.com). If you are interested in learning tech and are up for the challenge please drop in or sign up for the next CodeBAVC Cohort.
