Elizabeth Herrera is a proud California Kumeyaay native woman and mother of four. She is an emerging filmmaker, recently collaborating with Hamilton Families, director Erika Cohn, producer Marcia Jarmel, and BAVC executive producers, to create the short film “What You’ll Remember” which was featured in New York Times op docs and other film festivals. centered around family homelessness. (A fiction adaptation is in the works with director Erika Cohen). Elizabeth has recently earned a certificate in video production at BAVC Media, where she created a short documentary about how young people are experiencing life during Covid-19, featuring her son!
Elizabeth provides daily administrative assistance wherever it is needed. Mainly working on the Tech SF program. She also collaborates on various film projects.
