Isabel Soloaga
Next Gen Factory Media Instructor
Isabel Soloaga is an instructor with SF YEMM and an alum of BAVC’s Bridges Fellowship and Serial Storytellers programs. She is happiest with a camera in hand and is honored to share her passion for directing, cinematography, and editing films with students. She holds an MA in Migration and Global Development from the University of Sussex, England and completed her BA in Art History at UC Berkeley. In her first documentary series, Growing Up in America: Life After the Taliban, she brings together her commitments to social justice, international human rights and film. She was a 2021 CNN + Film Independent Fellow. Originally from Vacaville, California, you can find her at the barn outside of working hours, where she works as a consultant for a horse therapy nonprofit.
