
Angie provides support to 18-24 year olds through the Pre-apprenticeship and Apprenticeship program. She supports the Workforce department by creating curriculum that enhances the development of multimedia producers. She also works closely with BAVC clients to create production opportunities for young media-makers.
Angie joined BAVC in 2023. She is a multimedia producer, director & editor based in Oakland, CA. She has experience in live events, music videos, narrative and documentary film productions. She hopes to inspire visual stories that transcend cultures and consciousness.Her work has been featured in a variety of festivals and magazines. She feels most inspired to document stories within queer, black, & brown immigrant communities.
Her previous works have been nominated for best editing at the Indie Shorts Fest, selected for the Watsonville Film Festival, received the Dean’s and Chancellor’s Award from UCSC, and more. When not working, Angie enjoys fashion photography and collaging.
