Angie Morales is a Youth Media Instructor at BAVC Media. Her focus is youth development, and she is responsible for teaching live video production – specializing in post-production.
Angie joined BAVC June of 2023 as a Bridges Instructor. She is a full time photo and video freelancer and editor based in Oakland. She has experience in live events, and documentary film productions. Angie’s work has been featured in a variety of festival’s like Bicycle Film Festival and Watsonville Film festival.
Angie is a UCSC Film & Digital Media graduate & is a member of the BAMMS steering committee. Angie feels most inspired to document stories within queer, black, and brown immigrant communities. Vibrant and lively aesthetics commemorate her Afro-Colombian heritage and personal style.
When not at work, Angie enjoys collaging, fashion, and producing photoshoots with friends.
