Carol Luna Morales is the East Bay and Reel Stories Program Coordinator as well as the East Bay Community and Youth Engagement Specialist here at BAVC Media. Carol is responsible for the planning and coordination of programs, events, and activities. Working with Marketing, Carol works to provide content for upcoming and current programs and events.
Carol joined BAVC Media officially in October 2023. Prior she would work during the Reel Stories summer programs as a Producer and teaching assistant. Carol is an alumni to the Reel Stories program, having attended the filmmaking camp for girls and gender expansive youth in 2016. Outside of BAVC Media, Carol is an aspiring audio mixer and recordist, and a broadcasting engineer enthusiast.
During her time as a student of Reel Stories, two of her short documentary films were entered to a total of 5 film festivals. While working for her college’s broadcasting service she was credited as a camera operator for the PBS National Broadcasting of St. Olaf’s Christmas Festival Concert.
In her free time, Carol enjoys traveling, collecting enamel pins and buttons, cuddling with her dogs, taking long walks with a DnD podcast, and scrapbooking.
