The Northern California Apprentice Network (NCAN)

Creating, coordinating, and expanding apprenticeship programs

BAVC Media is a key member of The Northern California Apprentice Network (NCAN) Steering Committee, responsible for quarterly convenings of apprenticeship stakeholders.

The mission of NCAN is to create, coordinate, and expand apprenticeship programs in new industries across the Northern California region to better prepare the workforce of tomorrow.

Launched on April 29th, 2021, the network is a collaborative effort of employers, public sector entities, community colleges, non-profit training providers, community colleges, and apprenticeship intermediaries. NCAN is employer-driven and provides an open forum for all Northern California employers to learn from each other about the benefits and best practices of quality apprenticeship programming.
