Tender the Future: A Hopeful Podcast about Repairing the Nation

Tender the Future: A Hopeful Podcast about Repairing the Nation One Relationship at a Time

Role Overview
We are seeking a contract web designer for focused revisions to an existing Squarespace website. The right person for the role will bring a strong design eye, familiarity with Squarespace’s capabilities, and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.

About the Organization
Tender the Future is a new podcast created by Mariah Rankine-Landers and Julia Rhodes Davis.  A cultural conversation about repairing the most entangled parts of our difficult history, Tender the Future features stories that highlight a coming change, a healing nation. At a time of widespread despair and overwhelm, Tender the Future offers a hopeful place rooted in real stories that can shape the public discourse and inspire audiences to find agency to bring healing to their families, communities, and institutions. The first season released in short, serial episodes, will feature character-driven stories about families who are addressing the legacy of enslavement, sharecropping, and exploitation across lineages; friends practicing repair; a traditional museum returning stolen belongings and ancestral remains to their indigenous owners, and a cohort of philanthropic leaders redistributing wealth differently. Tender the Future is an exploration of  the places where inheritance, lineage, and legacy meet and influence one another as we shape the future.
