Faye Terry has always believed in the power of storytelling as a tool to connect, create, and ignite social change. Faye grew up in Brooklyn, New York and attended Clark University in Worcester, Massachusetts where she received her BA in International Development & Social Change and her MA in Community Development and Planning. She has since worked as an educator and a youth organizer in both New York City and the Bay Area, and currently resides in Oakland, CA. As the Youth Programs Coordinator at BAVC Media, Faye remains committed to the empowerment of young voices and the elevation of their stories.
