Jess Epstein is Associate Director, Strategic Partnerships at BAVC Media, responsible for developing relationships and partnerships that support and sustain BAVC Media’s current and future programming.
Jess joined BAVC Media in April 2023. She is an independent freelance documentary and nonfiction television producer based in New York. She is currently producing the forthcoming feature documentary, Remaining Native, directed by Paige Bethmann. Her work spans both domestic and international projects airing on PBS, ESPN, YouTube Originals, HBO Max, Discovery, the History Channel, and more. She is also an active member of Mobile Print Power.
Jess holds Bachelors in Visual Culture and Social Change from NYU and a Masters in Arts Administration from Baruch College (CUNY). She has participated in the PGA Create Fellowship and the CNN / Points North American Stories Fellowship.
When not at work she is often running around New York with her dog, Taz, venturing to a new borough or traveling to see friends. She is getting back into painting and recently started experimenting with oil paint!
