BAVC Media was started by group of activists, artists, and filmmakers who wanted to create media that was socially-relevant and community-driven. Decades later, supporting the work of independent producers to is still central to our mission.

BAVC Media continues to provide training, resources, and opportunities for storytellers to empower themselves, whether its by making new connections at a panel discussion, starting a show on SF Commons public access television, or realizing a project as part of the National MediaMaker Fellowship.
