Better Together: the PG&E Pre-Apprenticeship Program
Create social impact videos for PG&E through participating in either the Media Producer cohort (videography) or the Assistant Editor cohort
As a participant, you will:
- Create a series of compelling videos highlighting the work of PG&E community-based partners and grantees under the supervision of two mentors, who are working professionals in the field
- Come away with new and expanded skillsets for fellows in areas that range from transcription and timecoding to creating assemblies and polishing scenes.
- Leave with stronger career-readiness skills for fellows in areas such as building professional networks, finding and working with creative collaborators, and interviewing for promising job opportunities.
- Build expanded portfolios for each participant, with the addition of new professional pieces created during the fellowship program.
Each annual cohort starts during the summertime and lasts 4-5 months
