BAVC Media helped me decide where I should go with my career. Before attending the Bridges Fellowship I had a partial toolbox of skills and some loose ideas about my future, but I wasn’t sure how to make it all work. After taking a class in Javascript, I learned that programming wasn’t nearly as difficult as I thought it was. Since then I’ve taken classes on Python and served as a Peer Mentor for other Bridges Fellows. Most significantly, I’ve been able to combine my newfound skills in coding with my longstanding interests in writing and art to pursue game development.
